  • POLICY STATEMENT:​​ Webnoo Technologies Pvt Ltd​​ is committed to providing a safe environment for all its employees free from discrimination on any ground and from harassment at work including sexual harassment. Our company works on the principle of harassment feel work environment therefore the sexual harassment awareness policy has been made.​​ 

 

  • PURPOSE:​​ The main purpose of this policy is generating awareness among the employees on the concept of Sexual Harassment at workplace.

 

  • SCOPE:​​ This policy is applicable to all the employees of the organisation.

 

  • DEFINATION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT:​​ Sexual harassment is unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature which makes a person feel offended, humiliated and/or intimidated.

Sexual harassment can involve one or more incidents and actions constituting

Harassment may be physical, verbal and non-verbal. Examples of conduct or behaviour

which constitute sexual harassment include, but are not limited to:

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Unwelcome physical contact including patting, pinching, stroking, kissing, hugging,

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ fondling, or inappropriate touching

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Physical violence, including sexual assault

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ The use of job-related threats or rewards to solicit sexual favours

 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Verbal conduct​​ 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Comments on a worker’s appearance, age, private life, etc.​​ 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Sexual comments, stories and jokes​​ 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Repeated and unwanted social invitations for dates or physical intimacy​​ 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Insults based on the sex of the worker

​​  ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Condescending or paternalistic remarks​​ 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Sending sexually explicit messages (by phone or by email)​​

  • RESPOSIBILITIES REGARDING SEXUAL HARASSMENT:​​ 

 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Employer Liability-

  • To provide a safe working environment at the workplace.

  • Treat sexual harassment as Misconduct.

  • Organise workshops and awareness programme at regular intervals for sensitizing the employees with the provision of the Act.

 

 ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ Employee’s Liability-

  • All employees of the Company have a personal responsibility to ensure that their behaviour is not contrary to the above.​​ 

  • All employees are encouraged to reinforce the maintenance of a work environment free from sexual harassment.

 

NOTE:​​ 

  • If an employee feels that she has been sexually harassed by any employee in the organisation then she can come directly to her Reporting Manager or HR Manager and complaint against that employee.​​ 

  • Our company believes at Zero-Tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment in the workplace, therefore we will treat all incidents seriously and promptly investigate all allegations of sexual harassment.​​ 

  • If any employee found guilty then the strict action will be taken against that employee which may also lead to immediate termination.
